LONDON - March 31, 2019 - PRLog -- As many teachers now are strongly considering teaching English in China for its many benefits, it is of great importance to understand what the mandatory requirements are and what also influences the potential salary of a teacher.

China Link ESL, China's #1 TEFL Job Service, with nearly a decade of ESL industry experience connecting teachers with the top schools and universities across China recently released a statement explaining why a TEFL certification is of great benefit to a teacher looking to teach English abroad in China.

Since schools in the United States and Europe would not hire a teacher without certification, China is no different. China has learned that hiring untrained teachers from abroad is ineffective and non-productive.

A representative from the company explained, "It only makes sense to be certified. The two most important aspects of TEFL certification is how to manage a classroom and learning that speaking English and teaching English are very different and must be learned how to perform in a professional setting to non-native English speakers."

They went on to say, "The English language is very confusing, so being properly prepared for how to adjust to the learning environment of a foreign country makes the experience so much more enjoyable for both the teachers and the students. It's a win-win."

In order to obtain a work (Z) visa in China, the school or university will register the teacher as a "foreign expert", which cannot be done with proof of a Bachelors or Masters degree, some relevant teaching experience, and also being a native English speaker which goes without saying.

Meeting these requirements will enable a teacher to obtain a legal work (Z) visa to embark on a career path in ESL teaching in China.

About China Link ESL:
The company has over fifty public reviews. One teacher left a recent review saying, "I always knew I wanted to work abroad but put it off for so long, and then I got a message about working in china reaching English and thought, what an amazing opportunity. I spoke with Brian first who was so informative and helpful with details about the job, the Chinese lifestyle and benefits and after that I was sold. Anita and Brian were so helpful, patient and considerate about me every step of the way up until I've arrived in China and now I've just moved to Xuzhou, joined an amazing school under EF, and can't wait to get hands on with my own class and meet people from all over the world. Thank you to both of you for helping me achieve this, it's a brilliant opportunity and I would recommend anyone to join and use China Link ESL."
