Dr. Mangino Receives Certification in the Webster Technique

MIDLAND, Mich. - March 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Midland, MI - Dr. Shawnee Mangino of Preferred Chiropractic of Midland has recently received certification in the Webster Technique from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), which will enable the chiropractic office to support patients in achieving optimized physiological function - especially during pregnancy.

Developed by Dr. Larry Webster, the Webster Technique is widely considered to be a safe and effective way to restore pelvic balance and function. It is commonly associated with chiropractic care for pregnant women but can also be used on other patients to improve sacral misalignments that contribute to leg, hip and back pain.

The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral/ SI joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is improved.
