Martin Brossman & Associates LLC Offers Professional Development Training With Simultaneous Webinar for CEU's at Low Cost

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Martin Brossman & Associates is now offering an easy, low-cost way to offer professional development credit with full accountability:  a professional development training program for in-person attendees that can be broadcast simultaneously on the internet without expensive hardware or infrastructure investment on the part of the host, and that proves the participation of all remote attendees.  Martin Brossman & Associates bring their own equipment to the host's location, enabling the host to sell tickets two ways--for the live event and for the webinar--which means more tickets sold and more people in attendance.

This training/webinar is ideal for real estate brokers, lawyers, CPA's, medical professionals and any association or group responsible for hosting professional development courses for continuing education credit, and is available immediately.  "It is so fulfilling to see associations now being able to offer my training to members who could not be there in person and also keep the cost down for the association so they can do more for their members in other ways," Martin said. "With one group, when we started this back in 2015 we had less than 10 participants. As of March 22, 2019, we had 41 participants remotely with live participants as well. That 41 means a real increase in the bottom line of an association without having to spend a lot of overhead on expensive systems."

Martin Brossman co-developed this process of creating accountability for CEU credits with Ron Nicholson, Controller/VP Finance at Compas Cable TV, a Certified Public Accountant and volunteer for the Institute of Management Accountants, Catawba Valley Chapter.  In his work with IMA, Ron Nicholson found that while many chapters were holding one to two-hour webinars, no one was broadcasting full-day conferences, so members who were not in the room missed out on a lot of content. Instead of outsourcing the project, Ron teamed up with Martin.  With the help of other Catawba Valley IMA volunteers, Rhonda Young and Ellen Knauf, they developed this version of the simulcast, proved it to work first on WebEx, then Martin took the process to other platforms such as Zoom.us. Martin Brossman has been using this simulcast process with the Small Business Center Network for a number of years, initiated by SBC director Lentz Stowe, who has a huge territory for small business training.  When Martin taught the class in Washington, NC at Beaufort County Community College, Lentz Stowe set an iPad on a stand to simultaneously broadcast the class to locations like Ocracoke, NC. It is that easy, which means even people who live in remote areas can have access to this of-the-moment training.  "The first time I went to Ocracoke to teach in person was exciting," Martin said, "since the participants there had seen many of the broadcasts and had participated remotely in a number of my training courses before I ever got there in person." "Some of the small business classes I teach are not designed for CEU credits," Brossman said, "they don't require in-class verification at the same level that professional continuing education requires, which means that those participants don't need to be tested during the remote training.  The real breakthrough here is being able to test the remote participants throughout the training, thus providing the accountability needed for CEU credit, and at a low cost."
