Tellico Village Builds New Clubhouse and Community Center

LOUDON, Tenn. - Feb. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- Tellico Village is building two brand-new facilities in 2019 to accommodate rising growth and increasing demand.

A new clubhouse, that will be located in Tellico Village's Toqua neighborhood, is many years in the making. After years of considering alternatives and the possibility of renovation, the Tellico Village Property Owners Association is now implementing a plan to replace the 32-year-old clubhouse with a brand-new facility. The new Toqua clubhouse boasts an impressive 6,582 square-foot footprint with a restaurant, bar, covered porch, and golf pro shop. Tellico Village expects construction to be completed by November 2019.

Demolition of the old clubhouse was completed on February 5, 2019. The official ground-breaking ceremony will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at 200 Toqua Club Way Loudon, TN 37774.

From 2008 to 2018, Kahite neighborhood residents used a temporary annex building as an activity center. In 2014, Tellico Village began the process of developing plans to replace the temporary building with permanent construction. The new Kahite community center will feature nearly 2,600 square feet with a general-purpose activity room, restrooms, storage, and food serving capabilities. The facility will also include a covered portico that connects to the existing Kahite golf clubhouse and restaurant. The Kahite community center is expected to open in July 2019.

The official ground-breaking ceremony will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at 400 Kahite Trail Vonore, TN 37885.

Immediately following the ground-breaking ceremony at Kahite community center, a champagne toast will be served in the Kahite Pub & Grill to celebrate both projects. You are invited to enjoy a special-priced celebratory lunch, also available at the Pub.
