SKA Joins with Local Partners to Share Unity & Warmth

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Feb. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Continuing its tradition of giving, SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc. (SKA) & partners provided more than 700 sweatshirts to local school.

SKA is excited to announce its continued commitment to Hunter Elementary School.  In the 4th quarter, 2018, SKA partnered with Westover Church, Hoffman & Hoffman Inc., Triad Pawprints, Mr. Bruce Ashley, O.R. Colan & Associates, and WalMart to donate over 700 Hunter Hawk Hoodies.  Hoodies were provided for each student and staff member at Hunter Elementary.

"We are truly thankful that SKA had the opportunity to partner with local companies to have a huge impact on these children's lives," stated LeAnn Rasmusson, SKA Controller.  "We are extremely impressed with the staff and teachers at Hunter-they are such caring individuals with a passion for teaching and they provide much-needed support for their students and families.  Likewise, our partners share a sense of giving and passion to help others!  This is truly what makes a great partner."

In providing schools supplies, lunches for staff during Teacher Appreciation week, adopting families at Christmas, providing coats/clothes for students during the school year and other necessities, we are proud to have supported Hunter Elementary School for over a decade."

The Hunter student body was presented with their Hunter Hawk hoodie sweatshirts on February 1st in a school-wide celebration which included "Flash" the Hunter Hawk and Principal Wolverton in a boom lift! Volunteers from Hoffman & Hoffman joined SKA in the distribution to students!  We hope it inspired a sense of unity for students of all ages, school staff, and our partners!
