By: Rotary Club of Flagler Beach "This is just another way we like to give back to the community," said Rotarian and Executive Director of the Flagler Executive Airport Roy Sieger. "The funds Rotary raises through events like these go to supporting Rotary's six areas of service: promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene, saving mothers and children, supporting education and growing local economies," Sieger added. Walkers and runners interested in participating in the 5k can visit, www.flaglerbeachrotary.org to register. The cost is $20 for walkers and $30 for timed runners. All participants will receive a collector's medal. This year's medal is a B-25 airplane. There will be a free pizza party after the race as well as a ceremony to recognize winners. # # # Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to be part of Rotary International.
