TV & Film Composer Kim Planert Releases 'IGNITE', 2nd Single from Solo Album 'SKYLIGHT'

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Award winning TV and Film composer Kim Planert (Missing, Castle, Skid Row Marathon) releases IGNITE, the 2nd single from his first solo album SKYLIGHT to be released Spring 2019. Featuring Keeley Bumford on vocals (Assassin's Creed, Dresage) and the Budapest Scoring Orchestra (Get Out, Okja, Good Kill). An ambient, spiritual, hybrid sound mixing orchestra with synthesizer, SKYLIGHT bridges the gap between song and film music.

Inspired by Kim's love for wingsuiting and his personal account of the beauty and peril of flying through the air from 13,000 feet at 120+ mph. Kim has the rare combination of a skydiving film composer who has experienced first hand what it's like when the boundaries of fear are pushed to the limit and life turns on its axis in a split second.

IGNITE tells the story of a pyrotechnic night jump reflecting on the choice of living fast and dangerous or slow and safe.."burn it slow or burn it bright". The flyer travels like a shooting star through the night sky to.."burn through time". As the sky lights up, observers look to the stars inspired by that moment of magic to follow their own dreams and dare to live life to the fullest.
