Actor & Producer Jamal Johnson Stars in Award Winning film 2 Wrongs
and Uadilifu Kashta, (also known as Javis Johnson). As a standout high school
athlete, Jamal played Division 1 collegiate athletics. While in college, Jamal
starred in several local commercials and voice-overs. He earned his Bachelor of
Arts in Communications. After earning his Bachelor's, Jamal moved to New York to study acting at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
He has since performed in the theatre, starred in several domestic and
international commercials and print campaigns for Pepsi, Sprite, Coca Cola,
Gatorade, and Direct TV, and starred on TV shows for The CW and CBS as well as in several short and feature films.
Jamal is an advocate for living a fit and healthy lifestyle. He has implemented this philosophy to his friends and associates which include actors, professional athletes, and everyday people.
Jamal lands the lead role in the film "2 Wrongs" by Director Andy Cruz.
"2 Wrongs" tells the story of a single father, with a troubled past, who dreams of
creating a better life for his daughter. The film touches on many of the societal
issues of today such as: single parenting, racial profiling, bullying, and most
importantly the film's title, 'Do 2 Wrongs make a right?'
The film has won several awards. Special Jury Award & Official Selection -World Film Fair New York, Best Dramatic Short Film- Blastoff 2018, Official Selection-SOUQ Film Festival 2018, and Award of Merit- Accolade Global Film Competition.
