MMDSmart's Ira Cohen to Inspire Audience at Global Messaging & SMS Conference

The future of the SMS and messaging sector will be the focus of influencer Ira Cohen at the world's most important conference for industry experts.
Mr Cohen, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at smart communications solutions specialist MMDSmart, will be among several speakers featuring at the Messaging and SMS World 2018, at The Tower Hotel, in London, UK, over November 27-28.
More than 350 senior executives and 150 companies from nearly 50 countries will be present at the only forum for the cutting-edge messaging and SMS industry, where exciting new technologies and current trends in AI and IoT will be shared.
One of the highlights of the conference will be Mr Cohen's involvement as a guest panellist at the Innovation and Evolution - New Business Models for Messaging & SMS forum on Wednesday November 28, at 12.15pm.
The workshop will feature representatives from A2P SMS companies discussing the future of enterprise SMS with innovative business models and discussions on revolutionising and revamping business models to put the customer first.
Mr Cohen will explore the innovation and thinking behind the vision of Message Whiz SMS service provider, an intelligent text messaging service business. He is responsible for advancing the platform's strategic business development, and marketing.
He has developed unique expertise in advancing consumer applications for new technologies and has been a vocal advocate for leveraging technology to better people's lives.

The workshop, to be held at 3.15pm on Tuesday November 27. will cover the financial and reputational impact of A2P fraud, such as spam, SMS phishing and hacking, and explore technical solutions, operational procedures and industry collaborations required to beat the fraudsters.
Panellists from other global leaders, including Real, Tata and Telenor, as well as MEF executives who are leading the anti-fraud initiative, will also look at the regulatory landscape of the industry, the size of the fraud problem and what's needed to stamp out the problems.
