{9} The Gallery Presents Tiny Works | Tiny Dances IV

PHOENIX - Nov. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- This December marks the 4th anniversary of Phoenix's popular annual holiday group art exhibit, Tiny Works | Tiny Dances IV, opening First Friday, December 7^th, 2018, 6-10 PM at {9} The Gallery, 1229 Grand Avenue, Phoenix. This year's exhibit features a stunning collection of 170 pieces of original art for sale, all priced $300 or less.  The opening reception on December 7^thwill also feature live dance performances at 7:00 and 8:00 PM by Nicole L. Olson, Alan Khoutakoun and Elisa Marie Cavallero.

Tiny Works | Tiny Dances IV is a carefully curated blend of artistic styles at a price point suited for the beginning collector or deal seeking maven. The walls will hang with Phoenix favorites Rembrant Quiballo, MDMN, Daniel Shepherd, Henry Bosak, Matthew Goodall, Dadsocks, Aimee Shattuck, Just Idle Hands, Alana Christine, Ann Osgood, Joanna Proffitt, Gori Bautista, Nigel Clouse, Joshua Dean Wiley, Skye Lucking, Daniel Estrada, Lee Davis, Danielle Wood, Bacpac, JoAnn Augur, Rusul Emad, Lynn Hoyland, David Allen Paul, Mengyu Nie, Vikki Reed, Nancy Romanovsky, among dozens more.

A highlight of the opening night reception will be captivating live dance performances by professional dancers and choreographers Nicole L. Olson, Alan Khoutakoun and Elisa Marie Cavallero.

Nicole L. Olson, Assistant Director/Soloist of Scorpius Dance Theatre and a guest artist and soloist with Center Dance Ensemble, is a highly decorated performer and choreographer who has presented her own work at the Kennedy Center and is a recipient of the 2016 Mayor's Arts Award for Dance. Recently, she was recognized for Phoenix New Times' "Best Of 2018" for her collaborative work with artist Patricia Sannit (Best Collaboration). Alan Khoutakoun, a Phoenix-based performance artist, has performed professionally with Diane McNeal Hunt's Elevate DanceWorks, Liliana Gomez Dance, and Nicole Olson/Movement Chaos. Elisa Marie Cavallero, an MFA candidate at Arizona State University, has performed professionally with Scorpius Dance Theatre, Dulce Dance Company, Halo Movement Collective, Altitude Aerials, and for independent choreographers, Liliana Gomez, Mary Fitzgerald, and Nicole L. Olson.

Tiny Works | Tiny Dances IV runs through the month of December at {9} The Gallery.
