Network Pompey Business Club - November Event

PORTSMOUTH, U.K. - Nov. 6, 2018 - PRLog -- The next Network Pompey Business Club networking breakfast is fast approaching, and with spaces selling fast, it's advised to book your place soon.

Hosted by Portsmouth Football Club's business club partner, Network My Club, businesses are invited to enjoy a morning of networking, continental breakfast, as well as hearing from guest speaker, Deborah Phillips.

Deborah is an open water swim coach, swimming teacher and motivational speaker, who having only started open water swimming in 2013, swam the English Channel in 2017. Overcoming adversity and a number of obstacles along the way, as well as losing her father to drowning when she was younger, Deborah combatted bad weather, enormous waves, wind, jellyfish, darkness, cold seas and mental demons to make it across the Channel in a time of 17 hours and 23 minutes. She believes the positive mental attitude adopted got her through the swim and can help people achieve anything in life, along with determination, hard work and courage, whether that be personally or professionally.
