The Great Republic Supports Dallas Pancreatic Cancer Action Network

DALLAS - Nov. 5, 2018 - PRLog -- The Great Republic (TGR) will host a charity evening for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) Dallas/Ft. Worth Affiliate on November 7th, 2018, from 5-7PM at their pop-up shop located at Highland Park Village (HPV). A portion of the proceeds from Nov. 7th sales at the pop-up store will be donated to PanCan.

PanCAN's charity walk, PurpleStride DFW, is celebrating their 10th year raising awareness and support for pancreatic cancer, the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S. with a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent. Store Founder and Managing Partner, Eddie Papczun said, "The Great Republic is heartened to support such a worthwhile cause." This evening comes just three days before thousands will walk to end pancreatic cancer, notably the world's toughest cancer, at PurpleStride DFW on Nov. 10 in Dallas.

Historic items for sale Nov. 7th include rare 19th century U.S. maps, engravings, sculptures, antique flags, and signed political memorabilia and memoirs by Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Mark Twain, Sam Houston, and Alexander Hamilton. The shop opened on November 1st and runs through December 31st, 2018, bringing a limited time opportunity to see and own significant pieces of American art, memorabilia, and history.
