Prior to joining Lighthouse of SW Florida, St. Amand was the Executive Director of Arden Courts Memory Care Community for over six years and previously served as the Executive Director of the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center for fifteen years. "I am honored to be selected to lead the Lighthouse of SWFL and look forward to working with the Board and staff to meet the needs of our community and provide innovative programs for visual impairment," St. Amand aspires to collaborate with partners in the non-profit and corporate networks to advocate for human services. She was instrumental in establishing Lee Elder Abuse Prevention Partnership (LEAPP) elder justice coalition in Lee County Florida in 2010 to bring together a diverse group of professionals and community leaders to work collaboratively on initiatives to honor and protect older adults. The mission of the Lighthouse of SWFL is to enable people of all ages living with a visual impairment or blindness to remain independent, active and productive in our society.
