Ok. I am a 67-year-old man. I worked in Journalism for 23 years. Mostly it was wonderful. One day, I woke up and was not a journalist. I became a Social Worker, which was also, wonderful. I worked with many people with many different issues. I am the son of a French Catholic immigrant mother, and a father who grew up in the industrial northeast (Newark, N.J.). I went to Catholic schools. I moved South at 2 years old. I would always be a nice, but strange kid to those folks. I grew up to learn to love them. I am now "retired".

My Story

Imagine growing up between two different societies. This story is about my journey trying to understand one and balance the other. Also, I met, as I am sure everyone else has, some beautiful people. I want to share them in the hope than when I am gone, they will persist in someone's psyche. I do not want their spirit to die. So I try this means of keeping it alive. They are a few among so many.
