Mhadei is a protected reserved Wildlife Sanctuary which is located Sattari taluka, north Goa district. It is residence of the Bengal tigers; so it is protected reserved sanctuary. It is administrated by Forest Department of the Government of Goa. Forest Department team has one four wheelers and one motorcycle vehicles to patrolling in sanctuary. The sanctuary is prohibited to visit general public because it is a protected area land. Tourists can visit it only from distance.
