![]() Richardson Living Announces New Publishing TeamNew look and new content designed to connect readers across Richardson

"There will be parts of this publication that's been key to our community for fifteen years that may feel like the 'home' you recognize," said new Richardson Living publisher, Cory Montfort. "But if we are doing our job well, there will be content in every issue that will be new and relevant to you. My hope is that you will embrace the new, continue to enjoy the familiar, and perhaps be reminded of something you've wanted to be part of in the past." Fresh Features and New Website. In the latest issue and official relaunch of Richardson Living, the publication tackles the ever-evolving definition of family with articles on Richardson's Clarke family, Taiwanese immigrant Jin-Ya, art collectors Carl Youngberg and David McNair and others. Also included are new features like Neighborhood Ambassadors, where one reader is invited each issue to share what makes his or her neighborhood of Richardson special. We've created printable downloads for recipes, maps and crafts. Another new addition is the digital and print Source Book, a place where readers can go to learn "where to go, what to buy, and who to ask." The "Giving" issue will hit Richardson mailboxes and local businesses in November. The Richardson Living Difference. What makes Richardson Living different from other publications is its sole focus on our diverse community. Montfort moved into Richardson's Canyon Creek a number of years ago, and quickly got involved, running for City Council and founding Together Richardson, a community-based nonprofit service organization. When former Richardson Living founder and publisher Erica Yaeger approached Montfort about taking the helm, it was an easy decision. "Richardson Living is produced and supported locally by those who know and love our community," Montfort said. "In each issue and through our new website, we highlight our diverse, inspiring community with relevant content on topics like Richardson housing, community development, important anniversaries, local education, schools, and transportation." Richardson Living Partners. Of course, all this wouldn't be possible without Richardson Living's sponsors and partners like Texas Republic Bank, Dart, Methodist Family Health Centers, First Baptist Richardson, The Warren Center, Bry-Jo, American Tap Room, The Heights Church, energyattic.com, and many others.
