Fundraiser for Pain Free Clinic - October 7th in San Francisco

BERKELEY, Calif. & SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Pain Free Clinic, a collaboration between the alumni and students of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine at California Institute of Integral Studies, is hosting its first fundraiser on Sunday, October 7, from 3pm to 6pm at Hotel Via's Rooftop Lounge,138 King Street, San Francisco. All proceeds will benefit low income Bay Area residents disabled by pain.

In the last year, 72,000 Americans lost their lives from opioids and other drugs used for pain.  "Opioid and drug overuse disproportionately affects low income Bay Area residents who have few alternatives for legal pain relief other than emergency room services," says Lori Guidos, Executive Director of DisabledCommunity.Org.

Pain Free Clinic will utilize acupuncture, massage, cupping, and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine to provide high impact, immediate pain relief. "This fundraiser is a chance to bring these services to the Bay Area's most vulnerable members, regardless of their ability to pay," noted Ms. Guidos.
