In the last year, 72,000 Americans lost their lives from opioids and other drugs used for pain. "Opioid and drug overuse disproportionately affects low income Bay Area residents who have few alternatives for legal pain relief other than emergency room services," says Lori Guidos, Executive Director of DisabledCommunity.Org. Pain Free Clinic will utilize acupuncture, massage, cupping, and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine to provide high impact, immediate pain relief. "This fundraiser is a chance to bring these services to the Bay Area's most vulnerable members, regardless of their ability to pay," noted Ms. Guidos.
