NORCROSS, Ga. - Sept. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- StandUp Wireless, a wireless service provider offering Lifeline Wireless Service to South Carolina, today announced that it will provide effective immediately Unlimited Talk, Text and 5GB of data to all current South Carolina-based subscribers through November 30, 2018 to assist with communication needs of those affected by Hurricane Florence.

More than one million residents were displaced due to emergency evacuations and property damage. The aftermath of the storm — which some experts say was the most powerful to ever hit the region — left many residents without power, destroying hundreds of homes and causing severe flooding. Many are still without power and other necessary resources.

StandUp Wireless is a government supported wireless service provided by Global Connection Inc. of America. StandUp Wireless operates under the authority of your state Public Utility Commission to offer discounted wireless service to qualified, low-income consumers.
