Smush Parker Returns to LA to offer free basketball clinic!

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Sept. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- NBA Veteran William "Smush" Parker was born with a basketball. His Dad, William Henry Parker Jr., Played basketball on the famous courts of West 4th St "The Cage". Naturally these courts became Smush's crib and this is where he honed his skills.

Most known for his role as the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, Smush played for various teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, Miami HEAT, and the Los Angeles Clippers. Throughout his 16-year professional basketball career, the game of basketball has allowed Smush the opportunity to experience a copious number of countries, cultures, and people including Greece, China, Russia, Dominican Republic, Iran,
Mongolia, Tunisia, Morocco and Venezuela. These experiences have evoked a passion to use his platform to create a more fair, just world that elevates the humanity in us all.

Smush Parker Elite was established in 2017 and has afforded children of all ages the opportunity to learn from Smush's experiences obtained over the last 16 years of professional basketball. S.P.E camps and clinics, while focusing on fundamental basketball, are unique as he is passionate about inspiring young athletes to believe in themselves, while imparting his knowledge of the game and the game of life. Through the instruction of teamwork, Smush addresses the many social issues that children face today while establishing an anti-bullying
policy. Smush understands the impact basketball has on friendships both on and off the court.

On September 15th, 2018 Smush is returning to Los Angeles, CA to not only play professionally but to continue his campaign of Free Youth Basketball Clinics! Highly successful most recently in Ft Lauderdale Florida, Smush Parker Elite will be traveling across country to offer youths age 8-18 the opportunity to train with him! Venice Beach Basketball Courts (1800 Ocean Front Walk. Venice, CA) will be the location for this event from 11-2pm, all are welcome to attend.
