Barnfind's Fiber Platform Comprises Core of Signal Transport Solution at SCO Summit in China

BEIJING - Aug. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Barnfind Technologies' fiber platform comprised the core of the sophisticated signal transport solution at the 18^th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit that took place last month in Qingdao, China. The SCO, a political, economic, and security Alliance was established in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India and Pakistan joined in 2017. The annual Summit was chaired by Chinese President Xi Jinping this year.

DIGIRED, Barnfind's master distributor in China, was tasked with configuring and operating a fiber optic signal transport system linking the CCTV television studio, Xinhua News Agency, Qingdao Television Studio, International Conference Center, the airport OB vans and the journalists' global information desks. 108 fiber optic links were installed in the Master Control Room (MCR) with 96 used for communications.

Barnfind's flexible BarnOne fiber matrix - the most flexible and affordable infrastructure platform in the industry, formed the heart of the transmission solution, with the Company's BarnMini-01 standalone bidirectional conversion modules serving the optical machine to form the star pattern link. The BarnStudio control software was used to schedule signals and monitor the system, eliminating the need for manual routing.

The Barnfind system operated over a 3-month period, performing 24/7 during the preparation and the event itself.
