Iconic Photographer, Duane Knight Will Feature in the B&H Event Space Portfolio Development Annual Juried Exhibition, Sponsored by Sony!

NEW YORK - July 25, 2018 - PRLog -- B&H in partnership with Sony will be hosting their Portfolio Development Annual Juried Exhibition, featuring a little over 20 artists in the exhibit. The exhibit will also feature, New York's very own, Iconic photographer Duane Knight as he showcases his portfolio of vibrant and memorable photography.

In addition to that, Mr. Knight has a book coming out in the Fall and will be introducing and speaking about his book concepts at this event to lead up to his book launch. The book is called "The Doors of the Church are Open." "The Doors of the Church are Open" is a contemporary collection of essays written by some of God's finest Leading Ladies of New York City. Churches are bound together by the beliefs they share. This book will pray-fully "open" up those beliefs with these revelatory images and essays to make you think, dialogue, and better understand why the church thinks, acts, and breaths the way it does based on sound doctrine. The book further shines a never before seen spotlight on church photography and the photographers that go unnoticed and overlooked on Sunday mornings as they tithe their time to document their church's growth, activates, and history. The goal is to bring added value to their craft. Copies of the book will be on display.

About Duane "Dr. D." Knight Photography

A Brooklyn born native, Duane Knight, or as he is affectionately known Dr. D. or Doc, is a renowned visionary and trailblazer.  His artistic career spans over 33 years as a professional Gospel DJ, Radio Announcer, and freelance music and editorial photographer.  Presently, he is a Celebration of Life-Funeral Photography Specialist; serving grieving families since 2013.  In 2010, he self-published the 1st coffee table photography book on Gospel Music, "Kairos Vol. 2- Special Moments in Gospel Music," released his second book in Sept 2017- "A Celebration of Life- "An Artistic Look at Funeral Photography," and is about to release his third photography book in July 2018 entitled, "The Doors of the Church are Open."  Duane has received numerous nominations and awards including WIBO's "Alfred LaPorte Award" in 2015.
