An Attempt to bring light on the need of Acceptance for every student

VADODARA, India - June 26, 2018 - PRLog -- City based Parul University arranged a community viewing of the Movie "Hichki" at a city based theatre for all the 645 Teachers of the University on account of its 3rd Foundation Day. The movie is about a woman who has Tourette's syndrome and after several interviews and numerous rejections lands a job as a teacher at an elite school. She soon tries to do whatever she can to make her rebellious and troublemaking students realize their full potential.

Dr Devanshu Patel, President of the University said "I saw the movie last week and it touched my heart. I decided to take the learning forward to the teachers of
the University.  Accepting the fact that ''There are no bad students, but only bad teachers!" ,  I made an attempt to make the teaching fraternity understand that a child can be born tall, short, dark or fair, without an arm or a leg, or any form of disability . No child on this earth has ever been able to choose the condition which he or she wishes to be born in. The same can be said about the students we have in our classrooms, they are all different, not because they choose to be different but simply because they are born in different unique ways. The differences these children may have might lead the rest of the world into believing that that they are incapable of achieving anything in life. But as teachers, we should not see these students in the same way the world sees them, rather we need to look at them with an eye filled with optimism, as well as a heart filled with hope and inspiration. The students who come under their care as teachers, are born with no knowledge of this world. He or she has no idea of the amount of strength and ability that lies within, the most fundamental role in the future or the life of any human being is played by  teachers, who are the ones who unveil the hidden unique talent, which brings value to each and every single student. When teachers possess acceptance, it means they are able to accept and accommodate every single student whom they teach and accept the unique value the Students possess. Above all when teachers will develop the acceptance of their role and responsibility as a teacher in shaping the lives of the students who are come under their care, we'll reach a stage when every child is born normal but completes education as a star!
