Tim James, PE, CFM, Joins Halff as Business Development Manager
During his career, Tim has worked in private consulting as well as municipal government, where he has served as director of engineering, director of public works and city manager for municipalities in North Texas experiencing rapidly expanding and aging infrastructure. He has extensive experience in program management, capital project delivery, master planning, infrastructure design, asset management, construction management, and the development and implementation of innovative programs and solutions for municipal governments. His experience also includes membership in several regional planning and advisory groups through the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the North Texas Regional Planning Commission.
"The DFW metroplex has a lot of opportunity for our engineering services as the area continues to grow," said Chief Operating Officer Roman Plugge. "Tim is a perfect fit for Halff because he increases our outreach and is skilled in forming strong business relationships."
Tim's experience has allowed him to develop a deep commitment to client service and understanding of the needs and challenges faced by municipal governments. What Tim enjoys most is helping clients find cost-effective solutions that improve the services and quality of life for their citizens.

Tim earned his MS and BS in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He is a member of the Texas Floodplain Managers Association (TFMA).
