Comedian Marc Yaffee From Showtime's Goin Native Returns to Elk Valley Casino For a Night of Laughs

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. - May 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Standup Comedy returns to Elk Valley Casino in Crescent City, Saturday, June 2, at 8pm with Comedian Marc Yaffee and Special Guest Comic, Gilbert Brown.   Yaffee is an award-winning comedian featured on the Showtime special, Goin' Native: The American Indian Comedy Slam.  He has also been seen on the PBS special, Crossing The Line, SiTV's, The Latino Laugh Festival and Comics Unleashed With Byron Allen.

Marc was honored along with Powwow Comedy Jam is National Indian Gaming Association's Erntertainers of the Year and he appeared on the premier episode of the FNX (First Nations Experience) Network standup series, First Nations Comedy Experience.  Since starting standup comedy in 1999, he has performed in 42 state and 11 countries, including six tours overseas for Armed Forces Entertainment.

Brown, a Portland-based  comedian, will make his Elk Valley Casino debut.  Brown is a co-star of Another Indian Uprising comedy tour and was also featured on First Nations Comedy Experience.

"I'm excited to come back to Crescent City," says Yaffee.  "Crowds there are always supportive and fun to perform for."

Yaffee recently shot the TV pilot, Almost Americans, where he plays a comedian teaching citizenship to new immigrants.  The show's cast also includes, Gerry Bednob (Mooj from The 40 Year Old Virgin) and Steven Michael Quesada (Agent Gomez from Breaking Bad).
