Introducing the world's smallest IEPE triaxial accelerometer

IRVINE, Calif. - March 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Meggitt Sensing Systems, a division of Meggitt PLC, has released the world's smallest IEPE triaxial accelerometer - the Model 35C. This device has an ultra-miniature, lightweight footprint making it ideal for space-restricted testing applications, especially in automotive, aerospace, precision machinery, human body and consumer electronics, where conventional accelerometers cannot be used. Furthermore, the 35C has three sensitivity options which maximize its potential for use in a wide variety of test applications.

The 35C is hermetically sealed to protect the electronics from humidity and other contaminants that can degrade performance while the titanium case prevents corrosive damage. It has been designed with a low noise floor for a superior signal to noise ratio that fosters accurate measurements.

• 0.235 inch cube size
• 0.76 grams weight (sensor only)
• Available with sensitivity of 2.5 mV/g, 5 mV/g or 10 mV/g
• Integral 36-inch cable terminating to 4-pin connector
• Frequency response of 2 to 8,000 kHz (+/-5%)
• Shock limit of 5000 g

This CE and RoHS compliant accelerometer is individually packaged and shipped with a calibration certificate and a removal tool (49592). Optional cables (3027AM3-ZZZ and C-003-CA-005-ZZZZ) and signal conditioners (123 and 133) are also available.
