Engineering Pro Guides releases its HVAC Rule of Thumb Calculator

The HVAC Rule of Thumb Calculator quickly determines the sizes of any one of the possible systems (1) DX System, (2) Air Cooled Chilled Water System (3) Water Cooled Chilled Water System and (4) Heating System. Simply answer a few questions on your design building and the calculator will produce a report that will identify a range of mechanical (tons, BTUH, GPM, CFM, ft. head) and electrical (kW/HP)sizes of each major piece of equipment like fans, pumps, air handling units, fan coils, chillers, condensers and cooling towers.
