Legends Take a Punch for the Bullied

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Smash Global is a community based MMA Black Tie event with a mission to prevent bullying, violence and suicide among all Americans, but especially among Americas' youth. This charity event is set to take place on Wednesday, February 28^th, 2018 with the Red Carpet starting at 7:00 pm located at the Taglyan Complex at 1201 Vine Street, Los Angeles, CA.

Created by founder and former Pro MMA fighter Steve (Hulk Smash) Orosco this event is an ultra-exclusive, black tie dinner showcasing some of the fastest rising mixed martial arts (MMA) fight stars live in a cage. When that first bell sounds, the first of five intense MMA bouts sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commissioner will begin. In a recent interview Orosco states that he was excited to announce that this year's honoree for the Seventh Annual Smash Global event will be for legendary Brazillian Jiu-jitsu master Rigan Machado. Mr. Machado will be receiving a Life Time Achievement Award.

Sharon Doyle, Mrs. Diversity 2017, will be hosting this year's prestigious event honoring Masters Hall of Famer Emilio Lavizzi, world Karate champion Tamas Nadas and Dr. Dawn Steele, a multi-talented entrepreneur.

Tamas Nadas is a 3 time world Karate champion and 8 time European champion, a USA National Brazillian Jui-Jitsu champion, and a winner of a Silver and a Bronze medal in the World Police and Fire games, which is the 2^nd largest tournament in the world after the Summer and Winter Olympic games. Master Emilio Lavizzi is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo. Master Lavizzi has taught Hapkido to Law Enforcement, Military and Military Police in USA, Brazil, Italy and France. Master Lavizzi has competed in many martial arts tournaments throughout the world for nearly two decades. He has a gold medal in Judo in Italy, a Gold medal in Hapkido in California, he is a four-time California State Gold Medalist Junior Tae Kwon Do Champion, and one-time United States Gold Medalist Junior Tae Kwon Do champion.In 2003 Master Lavizzi was awarded the "Life Time Achievement Award" at the Masters Hall of Fame in Newport Beach, CA. Dr. Dawn Steele, a multi-talented entrepreneur, is best known for her work with Disney.
