PRLog -- GeoSolve Consulting is making a shift in name and focus according to local businessman, Jonathan Bartleson. His goal is to help companies translate data into more valuable management guides.
"There is a strong trend in the industry to apply what is known as data science or business intelligence techniques. I see a niche in Rome and Floyd County to help businesses leverage these tools to improve their operations."
Bartleson observes that many businesses have gone to a lot of expense and trouble to collect data. Those same companies want to extract more value from their data. They read trade journals referencing machine learning or management dashboards -- but don't have experience with these techniques.
"I enjoy helping companies use data to strengthen their business. For over 20 years I've helped organizations in NW Georgia with Microsoft databases of one sort or another. Now it is time to take the leap and focus my business to help companies apply these more advanced data science techniques. That includes data warehousing, Power BI reporting, dashboards, predictive machine-learning models, etc."
Bartleson has renamed the company to DataBaselines, Inc. to reflect this focus.
Bartleson is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in SQL Server and a graduate of the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science.
