Ltd. in Indian Foundry Exhibition (IFEX) 2018 held at Helipad Ground Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujrat from 10-Jan-2018 to 12-Jan-2018. This annual exhibition was organised by Institute Of Indian Foundrymen (IIF).

Many renowned ferrous as well as non-ferrous foundry experts including the users visited AMV Soluciones' booth in IFEX and saw the raw material cost savings examples using this software as follows:

GLOBAL: from 2% for the simplest cases up to 20% for the most complex.

CAST IRON: 2% – 6%

HIGH ALLOYED STEELS: 12% – 20%.

COPPER BASED ALLOYS: 6% – 15%.

ALUMINIUM: 4% – 10%.

Apart from this cost savings, since the system gets real time data from cranes, etc. the process becomes much more stable reducing the fluctuations from one heat to another heat. This reduction in fluctuations reduces the average cycle time of the heats, which leads to improvement the productivity of the furnaces. This improvement in productivity gives additional output without increasing the plant / furnace capacity and further increase in production & profits (which is not considered in the above indicative cost saving figures).
