Scalys Unveils Grapeboard, secure IoT communication at CES 2018

HENGELO, Netherlands & LAS VEGAS - Jan. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- Scalys will launch at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES2018) in Las Vegas its first product called the Grapeboard, delivering enterprise-class performance and security capabilities to consumer, networking and Internet of Things applications alike, including comprehensive IoT Gateway solutions.

The Grapeboard is a credit-card sized Secure Networking Communication Device, used in sensor gateways, communication hubs and secure edge devices. The Grapeboard Combines a 64-bit ARM® v8-based processor (LS1012A) with network packet acceleration and QorIQ^TM trust architecture security capabilities, the Grapeboard features line-rate networking performance at low power all on a small form factor board.

The Grapeboard provide an excellent base for high-performance, reliable, secure and efficient networking by means of interfaces such as 2x 1 GbE, M.2 connector (supports PCIe, SATA and USB 3.0), 2x USB 3.0/2.0, Wi-Fi/BLE 4.0, 2xI2C, anti-tamper, etc. Industrial grade version will also be supported for long-term availability.

The Grapeboard will be commercial available starting April 2018, with a price of € 99 - € 149 - (depending on consumer-grade / industrial-grade / volume / accessories / etc.).
