Main Points of Electric Control Valve Installation

 
IRVINE, Calif. - Jan. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- 1. The installation position of an electric control valve, as well as its height, direction of entrance and exit must meet the design requirements of the direction of the mouth. It should be firmly connected.

2. An electric control valve can be used in various forms of its end to connect with a pipeline. The most important connections are threaded, flange and welded connections. When the flange connection is the working condition, if the temperature exceeds 350 degree Celsius, the high temperature resistant bolt material should be selected due to the creep relaxation of bolts, flanges and gaskets.

3. Electric control valve must be installed before the appearance inspection, and the valve nameplate should comply with the relevant provisions. For the valves whose working pressure is greater than 1.0MPa and valves playing a cutting off in the main pipe, they should be carried out strength and tightness test. After passing the inspection, they are allowed to be used. Other valves cannot be tested alone which need to be pressure tested in the system.

4. When it is strength tested, the test pressure should be 1.5 times the nominal pressure. The duration of the test should not be fewer than 5 minutes. Valve shell, packing should have no leakage.

5. When it is rigorously tested, the test pressure shall be 1.1 times the nominal pressure. The test pressure shall remain unchanged for the duration of the test, the time shall be in accordance with the regulations and the valve sealing surface shall be leak-proof. Nominal diameter: DN15 ~ 500.
