Imbesi Law P.C. Files Lawsuit against Pret A Manger for Unpaid Wages

NEW YORK - Jan. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Attorney Seth Asher Nadler, an associate of Imbesi Law P.C., filed a lawsuit against Pret A Manger ("Pret"), on behalf of former employee Crystal Orta Roman, alleging that Ms. Roman was routinely required to work past her shift without compensation.

Ms. Roman's lawsuit alleges that she was not compensated for the additional hours she was forced to work while employed at Pret despite Pret's assurances that she would be compensated for those hours and overtime.

Ms. Roman was employed for over one year as a "Team Member" at the Pret store located at 485 Seventh Avenue, New York. Ms. Roman often worked over twelve hours a day without proper compensation.

The complaint alleges that Plaintiff told Pret on several occasions that it was unfair that she was not getting paid for the extra hours she was working. Pret assured Ms. Roman that they would retroactively compensate Ms. Roman compensation for hours owed, but failed to do so.
