SURREY, British Columbia - Dec. 13, 2017 - PRLog -- The 2017 season brought more International holidaymakers to visit and explore the Adriatic coast with custom tailored gulet charters holidays.
Early reservations started in 2016 and nearly all charter gulets were almost fully booked by the last quarter of 2016 for the upcoming blue cruise season in 2017.
"We were delighted to receive referrals from guests and their friends and family and new inquiries. Based on our company statistics, by late December 2016, we realized that of the approximately 40 gulet-style boats based in Croatia, there was not going to be much left to choose from in the beginning of the new year", explains representative from Mirya Yachting International.
With this volume in demand, Croatia remains limited in supply. The more popular boats with good crews, service and accommodation book up fast, confirms Mirya Yachting.
Originating in gulet construction and the highest selection worldwide is Turkey. Gulet cruises have been a popular holiday style for a few decades. Mirya Yachting official stated that gulets bought by Croatians and imported to Croatia from Turkey are also on the rise. The demand is not being met for charter selection just yet and compared to Turkey, there is still a long way to go.
"Reservations started in April for the following year and we strongly believe that it will continue rapidly, right into and throughout 2018. We expect that the Croatia charter bookings will break another record in 2018", says Mirya Yachting.
With dozens of picturesque island destinations, expansive gastronomy, reasonable airport transfer times and more, Croatia continues to be one of the most popular holiday hotspots in Eastern Europe.
