Bryce Resort Announces Opening Day for 2017-18 Ski Season!

BASYE, Va. - Dec. 12, 2017 - PRLog -- We've waited long enough and it's time Mother Nature delivered. On Saturday, December 16, Bryce Resort will open its slopes for the 2017-18 Ski Season! Dust off your skis and snowboards - it's time to shred.

"We look forward to kicking off the 2017-18 ski season on Saturday. Mother Nature looks like it's willing to cooperate with us this year and we're excited to have a wintery Christmas week ahead of us", said Ryan Locher, GM at Bryce Resort.

The lift will open its gates beginning at 9:00 a.m. to take skiers to the top for the first run of the winter season. Horst Locher Snowsports School will also kick off winter with First Time Packages, Kinder School and Private Lessons for those new to all things winter. Snowsports School features something for all ages.

Not sure about skiing down the mountain? We offer three 800-foot snow tubing lanes packed with adrenaline - no skill required. Each tubing session lasts one hour and 45 minutes.

And, after a long day out on the slopes, be sure to visit our newly-renovated Copper Kettle Restaurant and Bar - open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. serving food and drinks until the last call. You can also relax and kick back on the weekends with live music!
