ATD Dallas Announces Winners of 2017 AXIS Awards

DALLAS - Dec. 13, 2017 - PRLog -- The Association for Talent Development (ATD) Dallas Chapter recognized 14 organizations in the DFW area for their exemplary work in the field of Talent Development at its annual AXIS Awards Gala on December 5, 2017.

The ATD AXIS Awards recognize organizations in the areas of Talent Management, Organization Development, Learning Solutions and Program Management. This year's Best in Show award went to GME/GameStop for its innovative work in identifying, assessing, and developing high potential talent to fuel its rapid evolution and growth. In describing the program, Katie Singer, Talent Planning and Special Initiatives Manager said "We assess HIPO leaders' business and financial acumen, their ability to think critically about real-world business problems, their desire and ability to work strategically with other leaders, and consider how effectively they respond to constructive pressure. Every assessment leads to a robust, highly supported development plan."

Matthew Hirst, Senior Director of Talent, OD, & Learning added, "Talent will be every successful organization's competitive differentiator in the next 5-10 years especially. We believe we already have some of the world's best talent, and we're committed to helping them grow."
