Abstract Painting in sunny summer yellow

FLENSBURG, Germany - Nov. 18, 2017 - PRLog -- Sunlight is the central element of Spring and Summer, as can be found in the abstract art of the artist Peter Nottrott, in warm glowing shades of summery yellow.  Ten impressive variations in acrylic on canvas have been since the spring of 2017 inpsired by the theme `Sunny Nature'. The abstract theme also moves Peter intensly. The variations are based on a wide range of yellow tones, such as warm, lively and intense, and lend a real sense of individual character and charisma to each piece in the collection `Sunny Nature'. They have been painted in a very individual style, Peter often paints with three or more paint brushes in his hand at a time.

The variations differ in both their size and color pallete. The largest of the pieces is in XXL format and is an impressive 200 x 110 cm. Peter loves to paint large pictures, and has even created works of over 10 sq m. The smaller of the `Sunny Nature' paintings are around 135 x 90 cm and will sit comforably above any sofa, and there are also portrait and landscape variations. The are also variations in the abstract art itself: most of the paintings are fully abstract,  whilst a few, such as `Let The Sunshine M1' have realistic elements.

Two of the `Sunny Nature' variations have already been sold to happy customers in Texas and Washington. "Many of my pictures find a new home outside of Germany, especially in the USA and England" explained the likeable artist from Flensburg. Peter finds inspriration for his paintings from his many walks in the natural surroundings of his studio, where the nature, with it's unending diversity of color and form play an important role. The ideas are then brought to life in his Flensburg studio. Since 1987 Peter Nottrott has been a freelance artist, at the start of his career he painted mostly realistic images, but as his artistic ideas developed, he studied more on color and form, and from there he found his way into abstract art.
