Apache Junction School District Requests Parent and Community Feedback

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - Nov. 1, 2017 - PRLog -- Parents, teachers and members of the community are invited to speak up and provide input at the open forum discussion of the Strategic Plan Focus Group meeting, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2 in the multi-purpose room of Desert Vista Elementary School, 3701 E. Broadway Ave. in Apache Junction.

The Nov. 2nd meeting is the first one that is open to the community. Public comment and interaction are encouraged.

The Strategic Plan provides the vehicle for schools and departments to create aligned improvement plans driven by:

Root cause analysis using multiple data points

• Collaborative learning networks of employees

• Culture of continuous improvement

• Stakeholder's input and feedback

• Incremental improvement cycles, rather than perfection

• Monitor and measure organization targets

There are six Strategic Plan Focus Groups scheduled to ensure that all of our stakeholders have an opportunity to participate. Due to the nature of this work, membership for the Strategic Plan  committee primarily consists of the district leadership team; however, there will be six dates where the public will be invited to comment.

Nov. 2, 2017 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. DVES, multi-purpose room

Nov. 9, 2017 5 to 7 p.m. at Cactus Canyon Junior High, multi-purpose room

Dec. 6, 2017 9 to 11 a.m. District Office, Governing Board Room

Jan. 17, 2018 5 to 7 p.m. at CCJH, multi-purpose room

Feb. 5, 2018 4:15 to 6:15 p.m., , Four Peaks Elementary, multi-purpose room

March 26, 2018, 9 to 11 a.m., District Office, Governing Board Room
