Follow on Google News | Paranormal Tour Canceled Due to Hurricane Irma RescheduledMiami Ghost Chronicles, a local paranormal group will be conducting the Paranormal DuPont Zine Tour on October 28th.
By: Miami Ghost Chronicles One of these events was a paranormal tour of the historic Alfred I. Dupont building located at 169 E. Flagler St. Miami which is now slated for Saturday, October 28th, 2017 as part of Downtown Fright Night. The iconic building was completed in 1939 and named for Alfred I. Dupont the owner of the Florida National Bank, the principal tenant of the 17th-story Art Deco building. This first skyscraper of Miami was built on the site of the Hotel Halycon, built in 1903 and designed by the famous architect Stanford White, who was killed three years later as a victim in a lurid love triangle. The papers called the ensuing murder trial the "Trial of the Century". Since the days it was a hotel, and then when it became one of Miami's first skyscrapers, unusual events have taken place there. Many of those who have worked or visited there throughout the years describe eerie encounters. Find out what they are during the one hour tour. Miami Ghost Chronicles will walk you through the history of the famous and infamous persons and events who might now be part of the fabric of this location, always with the hope that one of those shades will decide to make contact with the living on that night. This unique tour and zine experience is offered by Exile Books and Lemon Yellow in conjunction with Miami Downtown Development Authority.
