Sonic Data Breach Class Action Investigation

TULSA, Okla. - Sept. 29, 2017 - PRLog -- Abington Cole + Ellery is currently conducting a class action investigation regarding a confirmed data breach at national drive-in restaurant chain Sonic. The breach potentially affects millions of credit and debit cards from across the United States.

Breached information includes, but is not necessarily limited to: names, credit card numbers and associated information.

The breached credit and debit card information is reportedly being sold to criminals online. These types of breaches typically involve hackers surreptitiously accessing a company's  point-of-sale system (cash registers) and planting malware that copies information from each credit card swiped by customers. The malware then sends the credit card information to the hackers, who sell it on underground forums.

This is what happened in the Home Depot breach of 2014 and the Target breach of 2013.

If you believe you are a victim of the Sonic data breach, and would like to participate in a class action lawsuit regarding this data breach, please submit your information via the form on this webpage: http://www.abingtonlaw.com/Sonic-Data-Breach-class-action...
