US trade with Japan in the 2nd quarter of 2017

Sept. 19, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Japan totaled $50.9 billion, up 6.71% ($3.2 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Japan in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $16.7 billion, up 10.94% ($1.6 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Japan in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $34.2 billion, up 4.75% ($1.5 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Japan in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $17.4 billion, a 0.58% decrease ($0.1 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Japan was the US 4th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 5.1584% of US total trade (up from 5.1523% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Japan was the US 4th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 4.3499% of US total exports (up from 4.1487% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Japan was the US 4th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 5.6751% of US total imports (down from 5.8016% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
