    Brigitte Trogneux, France's newest first lady, will be honored at The 2017 Cougar Ball, Saturday, July 1^st, 2017, 8pm, at Monroe Lounge, 473 Broadway, between Kearny & Montgomery, San Francisco CA. The Cougar Ball is the world's largest annual gathering of Cougars and Cubs.

    Ms. Trogneux is 64 and her husband, newly elected President Emmanuel Macron, is 39. She was Macron's French teacher and drama coach while he was in high school. "It seems like it was love at first sight," reports The Local, a French publication. "It's understood the pair used to have long discussions together-and she would read his writing out to the class. She used to recite his work all the time. She was totally captivated by his writing skills. A whole new level of teacher's pet."

    Ms. Trogneux campaigned throughout France for her husband, taking a leave from her teaching job. It is expected that she will be one of his most trusted advisors in the Elysee Palace.
