Professor Chris Imafidon leads Oxford in hosting African King, the Ooni of Ife to a historic lecture

Oxford University leaders, scholars and students heard a historic lecture by an eminent Monarch, The Ooni of Ife, after an introduction by world-renowned adviser to Monarchs, Presidents, Governments and world leaders, Professor Chris Imafidon. The lecture was standing room-only, attracted other royals and was beamed across the world from St Antony's College Hall, University of Oxford.

OXFORD, U.K. - March 24, 2017 - PRLog -- Prominent African King, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, and other leading monarchs were welcomed yesterday to Oxford by internationally renown Professor Chris Imafidon, the Mayor of Oxford, Mohammed Altaf-Khan and the Oxford University's Museum of Natural History. The royal party enjoyed the visit so much that they could not keep up with the scheduled visit to Westminster, where they were expected to meet British leaders.

Professor Chris Imafidon, who chairs the ExcellenceinEducation.org.uk (http://www.excellenceineducation.org.uk/)  said "Here at Oxford, and other Universities, we usually teach students History from the pages of a textbook, but today all of us are experiencing history. We have here, a living monarch in the flesh." Prof Imafidon,  then welcomed, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife and other royals on a historic visit to Oxford University, adding "All of us here, professors, scholars, students and staff of different races and backgrounds are gathered in the presence of the highest number of African kings with full traditional regalia; special white gown; exquisite traditional beads and silver crown, along with a giant African umbrella. Let me on behalf of the entire university community express our profound gratitude for taking time out of your engagements with Her Majesty, the Queen Elizabethh II of England to visit us in Oxford."

His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, said to the enthusiastic crowd that "It was a delight to visit Oxford and the Museum of Natural History to see ancient artifacts. I greet you all with peace and appeal for unity among people of African and Caucasian descent." He expressed his passion for youth development and the role played by education. Later upon, hearing the news of the London terrorist attack, the Ooni sympathised with British people, expressing his sincerest condolences to families of the dead and condemned the attack.

Earlier, the Ooni, the world leaders, and Professor Chris Imafidon were among the dignitaries invited by HM the Queen to Westminster Abbey as part of commonwealth celebrations.

Professor Imafidon, is well known for his work for getting any student to get exceptional achievements via the (http://www.excellenceineducation.org.uk/) program, which also support inner-city lecturers, teachers, pupils and parents.
