Follow on Google News | Lopez, Boscacci and Croft commit to return in 2017John Lopez – will be in his second year with the Storm just coming off a very successful Summer Season in the Northern Conference. Lopez appeared in 10 games and scored 13 goals for the Storm. John is ready to compete at the next level and will use his play in the Pro Premier division to stage that talent for the professional level. Philip Boscacci a counter part of Lopez, the Storm Striker scored 11 goals in only 9 appearances. Boscacci has verbally commented to his third year with the Storm, Boscacci made his first appearance with the Storm in 2014. Now a veteran accomplished goal scorer will keep up his scoring ability in February when the Storm starts its new schedule. Brett Croft- Croft appeared in 10 games with the Storm last season after returning from time spent in Sweden last year. Brett the most vocal experienced veteran on the pitch. In the 10 games Brett scored 3 goals but his biggest success Brett had last season was picking up the most assist by a single player in a single season in the whole 10-year history for the Storm and that is 10 assist. Croft spent time last year playing under a professional contact in Sweden and returned this summer to the Storm. Croft may head back to Sweden but for now has verbally commented to his return leading the Storm in the next season. "So far head coach Oscar Moreno has been rebuilding the team core, with veterans first to give the team a strong foundation" said Gerald Brunner team manager, Moreno has go far received commitments from a good base of players Brunner went on to say " Moreno has gotten confirmed commitments from Keeper Kyle Cunningham Kyle was his number one priority to get signed with the loss of Herrera last season. Oscar has gotten commitment from defenders Frank Cardenas, Pablo Nunez, Stevie Ray Trujillo and Oscar Luna with midfielders Kris Hernandez, Kevin Mendez, Brett Croft, Nelson Peraza, John Lopez, and Andres Zalamea, also returning for the Pro-Premier division is Striker Philp Boscacci. That's a good core to begin with and of course we have a few new players that the coaching staff is still looking at." said Brunner.
