ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Dec. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- It doesn't take long for someone walking through the doors of Pivotal Chiropractic to figure out that this isn't your grandparent's chiropractic office - the kind of place that you would visit for a quick "crack."

At Pivotal Chiropractic, you're greeted with a warm, cheerful smile. A quick peak into the examination room will reveal a state-of-the art digital x-ray system that's not only precise but significantly reduces patient exposure compared to units manufactured just ten years back. Precision and innovation appear to be the theme at Pivotal Chiropractic.

Last month Pivotal Chiropractic celebrated its Grand Opening in Ann Arbor, MI. During the event, the Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted the ribbon cutting and many patients, members of the community and local business owners attended. The celebration was capped off with over a dozen raffle prizes given away to attendees that were generously donated by local businesses.

While many Ann Arbor area residents are familiar with Dr. Gessert's trademark black "I go 120 m/sec" t-shirt worn proudly by Ann Arbor area weight lifters and members of the fitness community, Gessert says that he hopes he's made the biggest mark through achievements from his unique approach, called "Specific Structural Correction."

"We take pride in our ability to provide personalized, high quality care. In our office, you'll never be treated like a number. To me, your spine is a remarkable feat of engineering, and we have to take a precise analytical approach to its correction. It's not just about feeling better; it's about restoring normal structure and mechanics of the body so that we KNOW that it's better and we have the tools to show it," said Dr. Gessert.

Spend a little time at Pivotal Chiropractic, and you'll hear success stories from people who were referred to Dr. Gessert by local healthcare providers, trainers, and therapists and/or those who sought out Dr. Gessert with Challenging conditions like migraine headaches, numbness and tingling, and neck and back pain. When asked why he has had great success with challenging cases, Dr. Gessert emphasized that, in many cases, ailments similar to those just mentioned are often nothing more than a secondary condition to the underlying cause - a Segmental Displacement that occurs in the upper portion of the neck. This Segmental Displacement is better known as ADC (Atlas Displacement Complex).

Having an underlying condition like Atlas Displacement Complex can result in secondary problems due to its impact on the flow of neurological signals and fluids that are essential for the optimal function of the brain and entire human body. An Atlas Displacement Complex basically creates a clog or a backup in the brain's plumbing and electrical wiring systems. By making sure that the plumbing and wiring is unimpeded, the brain and entire body can function at their best.

While Dr. Gessert is known for his work in his Ann Arbor location, he is also making a name for himself outside the office on the public speaking circuit. Dr. Gessert has been a featured speaker for many organizations, groups and corporations in the Ann Arbor area.

In his spare time you can find Dr. Gessert working out at Liberty Athletic Club, spending time with his family at the Argo Canoe Livery or working up a new meal prep recipe in the kitchen.
