DNV GL Certifies AgileTek for ISO9001

SOUTHWARK, U.K. - Dec. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- London-based engineering consultancy AgileTek have been successfully issued certification, from DNV GL – Business Assurance, confirming that their Management System is designed to the ISO9001 "Quality Management System – Requirements" standard.

The newer 2015 version of the standard, which supersedes the 2008 version, is the basis of the certification and places an emphasis on the organisation's context and promotes risk-based thinking.

Andy Wilson, (UK Manager, DNV GL – Business Assurance) added "By gaining accredited certification to ISO 9001:2015, AgileTek has demonstrated their commitment to quality management."

AgileTek have worked on over 50 projects in the past two years including work on 34 separate offshore windfarms. The scope of certification was "Verification and optimisation of the design, installation and operation of SURF equipment and ancillaries." This covers AgileTek's core subsea engineering and naval architecture service offerings.

Steven Rossiter, AgileTek's Managing Director commented: "We felt strongly that our continued growth would benefit from a formal appraisal of our internal management processes. The entire team were involved in reviewing everything we did from document control to project planning and execution. This certification gives us confidence that we can deliver cost effective engineering services whilst not compromising on quality".

The certification is valid through to December 2019.
