Prospect Financial Group, Inc. volunteers at San Diego River Park Foundation

SAN DIEGO - Dec. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Prospect Financial Group, Inc., a leader in the mortgage refinance industry, was pleased to have volunteered at Friends of the San Diego River Mouth, a chapter of the San Diego River Park Foundation, in Ocean Beach on November 19, 2016.

Prospect employees participated in a coastal habitat restoration project that helped save and restore one of the last remaining coastal dune and wetland habitats in California. Over 95% of these habitat areas no longer exist in California and are home to many endangered birds, fish, and mammals. Through targeted land acquisitions, advocacy, special projects, and other efforts, the San Diego River Park Foundation is committed to improving the health of the San Diego River. During the outing, the Prospect team took an educational walking tour and then joined together to rescue native plants and remove invasive plants with provided tools. The team also partook in trail maintenance.
