BERKELEY, Calif. - Nov. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- OneTraction, a Silicon Valley-based Open Innovation Accelerator announced the
selection of finalists for their Berkeley Global Hackathon, hosted virtually with the opening reception organized in San Francisco which was sold out and attended by prominent investors, press and guests observer including panelist from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley and Apple. The top winners are:

1) – Nathan Sexer of CrowdGo want to tackle the problem of Small and Medium Businesses financing their working capital through a crowdfunding platform that allows them to do so by accessing loans secured by their inventories, backed by CrowdGo and owned by investors. Each transaction would have a target rate of return where CrowdGo provide credit rating, along support through community and marketplace. 2) – Manindra Majumdar of GoFind which is an Artificial Intelligence and AR powered search engines for E-commerce, using advanced image recognition, natural language and mixed reality that enable it to provide a much intuitive and personalized shopping experience from the world's largest shopping catalogue. The team are based in SF Bay Area and led by Manindra Majumdar who is a Hult graduate with an MBA and strong industry experience at the global scale. Read more about the founder at

3) – Brendan Fortuner of Smart Cushion is solving back-pain for office workers with a detachable Smart Cushion that turns any chair into a Smart Chair. It tracks how long you've been sitting and reminds you to take breaks. If you slouch, it buzzes to correct your posture. The team are based in SF Bay Area and led by Brendan Fortuner who is an Amazon Engineer and University of Virginia graduate. Read more about the founder at

OneTraction's disruptive approach focus on guided execution where founders contribute incrementally on a weekly basis in building their business "not just funding" by taking startups through the stages of building an MVP with validated market fit, gaining traction, and obtaining angel round financing. They offer their program both virtually and at their partner's office space in the heart of Silicon Valley, located a few minutes from the Stanford University campus and Sand Hill Road Top Venture Capitalists.
