FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Nov. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- If you were given a set of clues and asked to use them to write a story in 90 minutes, could you do it?  This is the concept being used for an interactive writing class planned by members of the Writers Resource Center (WRC).  In addition to the clues, participants will be asked to use some of the traditional five sensory perceptions (sight, sound, touch, etc.) to "show" rather than simply tell their stories.  The seminar is part of WRC's ongoing Developing Authors Series and will take place on Saturday, November 12, from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 113.  Seating is limited. Anyone attending, including current members, must RSVP by emailing janiepbess@yahoo.com. Members must bring their membership card or certificate.  If you are not a member and would like to sign-up or renew your membership, please visit www.wrcnoca.com . Admission is free for members; non-members pay a small fee. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

"I think this will be an exciting session that will stimulate and challenge each writer's creativity," says the group's Founder Janie P. Bess.  "We're looking forward to some energetic discussions and unique stories."

Attendees should come prepared to write, bringing their own supplies and/or electronic devices. The workshop will be led by WRC's new president, award-winning author Vicki Ward.  It is the last class in the Developing Author Series for this year.  The program is designed to give authors everything they need to write, publish and promote a book. It will resume in January 2017.

Due to the popularity of classes and limited space, everyone is advised to arrive a little before or at 10am to get the best seating.   For more information on this workshop and other activities of WRC, please visit the center's website at www.wrcnoca.com.
