IAM StarGuard Elite Brings Safety Training To Tour Operators

PUERTO RICO, Puerto Rico - Sept. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- IAM StarGuard Elite successfully introduced themselves to the cruise tour operators and port agencies at the 23^rd annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Trade Show. IAM StarGuard Elite joined as an associate member and exhibited at the trade show to showcase their new certification "STAR Adventures". "STAR Adventures" is a comprehensive training program that includes CPR, AED, Basic First Aid, and Water Awareness for tour operator employees.

"STAR Adventures" was successfully rolled out in a pilot program for tour operators in South Abaco, Bahamas. The eight-hour training course provides a one-year certification for tour operator employees to learn the necessary skills to assist a guest in distress on a shore excursion. IAM StarGuard Elite also performed a risk analysis and provided equipment recommendations for the individual tour operators.
