Follow on Google News | Historic Redington Beach Home for Sale By AuctionThe original home of Mr. Charles Redington will be sold by auction this September by American Heritage Auctioneers.
The former home of Charles Redington, the town's namesake, was built in the 1930s and has been updated to accommodate modern conveniences over the years, including a newer carriage house addition in 1999. The home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, two master suites and several bonus rooms. The town's namesake played a role in shaping the beach communities, including building one of the first residences, this home at 15572 Gulf Boulevard, and helped to shape the future development throughout the small beach towns. The home at 15572 Gulf Boulevard in Redington Beach will be sold by auction on Saturday, September 24, at 12:00PM, with an open preview beginning at 10:00AM. The public is invited to attend and complimentary valet is provided. "It's a beautiful property that has that 1930s charm but doesn't lack today's modern luxuries," says Mathew Eberius, auctioneer and member of the Pinellas County Historical Preservation Board, "and the owners have taken great care of it. They realize that the auction will bring a fair market value and will allow anyone with an interest in the property to come forward and own a piece of history." For more information on the property or the auction process, contact American Heritage Auctioneers at (727) 488-2423 or through email at MEberius@AHAuctioneers.com. End
